Sony Entertainment has announced the official date of the movie “Uncharted” that has been work under process for almost half a decade. The movie will feature Spider-Man Tom Holland and it is going to be a masterpiece for both of them.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie will hit the theatres on December 18, 2020. The wait is going to be long like one and a half years but Sony confirmed that the wait will be worth it.
Tom Holland will play the role of Young Nathan Drake. Dan Trachtenberg is the director of the movie who took the responsibilities from the previous director Shawn Levy. Jonathan Rosenberg and Mark Walker are the writers of the screenplay.
However, the reports didn’t say anything about how the story of the movie will be connected to the video game “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End”.
So far this is the final chapter of the Uncharted game of the Naughty Dog studios but they also say that “Uncharted 5” may happen with a different studio. How the movie is going to be linked up with the video game is going to be interesting.
